Simple and quick! You can change up the sweeteners and the flavorings, and add spices or alcohol to create your own special topping.
Ingredients
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 4-6 tablespoons powdered sugar (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Put the carton of heavy whipping cream, mixing bowl, and whisk in the freezer for about 15 minutes. The whipping cream and utensils have to be cold for it to whip properly.
- Remove everything from the freezer, and put the whipping cream in the mixing bowl. Begin beating on high and add sugar a tablespoon at a time. As the cream begins to thicken, add the vanilla. Whip until the cream comes to a firm consistency and can form a peak. This should take about a minute or two and you are done! Do not overbeat.
